I apologize, I must've missed that because I uploaded pictures from Ch138-Ch152 all in one go. I'm not on a laptop right now and on a broaer site on my phone so right now, I cannot go to the image and check if for myself.
What do you mean by "illegal images", by the way? Following proper wiki guidelines, every image here in the wiki is provided with the tag of "fairuse" and it clearly states there the copyright of the images and how it's uploaded to "illustrate" articles, which is essential for this wiki. As long as it has a tag like that, the image should be fine.
I get your point and it would be way better if it is from what we directly scan from the published volumes from VizMed or Hana to Yume but even those online scanalations have the "Fair use" tag on them on all the manga sites, which could usually be seen at the bottom of the page. I think it's just more convenient to use it because it is easily accessible whereas compared to scanning own pages, it takes much more work. This could be something that maybe, we could work on the future though. ^^
Hiya. Heading to bed soon. I've been working on it for the last couple years, though, and I have been up front about that. I've even removed a lot of images from the wiki that had scanlation writing on them. On others I've removed the fan-written content from the image myself, when able. Particularly with the chapter cover images, since they are so prominently featured. My point is that I've already put in a lot of work on the wiki to keep it above board.
Yep ^^ Goodnight! There is a rule in this wiki that images from the manga should not contain any text on the bubble and so on. My point here though is it's okay to use scanalated images (especially when there's no available scans from published volumes yet, then we could just replace them later on to improve the quality of the wiki) but I agree that is better if it was from published volumes.
I readded your Christmas theme from last year, but it feels like it's missing something. Sorry I didn't do it correctly! Hope you come around and visit your old stomping grounds and say hey this holiday! ^.^
Yep, it's been a while... I really missed you all and hanging around the wiki. I will try to be back for some time these next few weeks. It's nice to see the wiki still keeping up with the on-going series and active. Thank you so much for putting time and effort for it :D '
No problem. I try to do something at least twice a day, but I'm holding down two jobs at the moment in addition to the other wiki.
The biggest projects for me have been keeping up with the dub and now the new layout for the Plot subpages. Aerendria and Pokkiri have been doing great things helping the wiki keep up with the latest releases.
If you swing by, that's great! We'll look forward to seeing you. Don't worry if you can't, though!
Good morning! At your convenience, anon user 126.96.36.199 needs a warning message for vandalizing the Reino page, unless you consider the edit as worthy of immediate blocking. Thanks! (Sorry for the brevity, intense morning, hope you're well.)
Hi there! Myself and a friend have started a small Skip-Beat community. And we proud support the wikia. You guys ar edoing a fantastic job. I was wondering if you could help us get some users to get our community going?
Hi Nicole, sorry for the late response. A couple of redditors over at Reddit created a community for Skip Beat! - https://www.reddit.com/r/SkipBeat - On behalf of the creators, I was wondering if you could help us garner some attention. We plan on doing weekly (or daily) retrospectives covering the volumes, and might even do a rewatch of the anime. You guys seem to have a really nice community here, and I'd love to see some of you over there, if that would be OK with you. :)
My schedule is pretty hectic these last few weeks (and perhaps, on the next following weeks) because I've been doing volunteer work on some rural areas so I can't promise that I could join it there... maybe after a month or two? I'll make a thread here and highlight it so everyone here could see it ^-^
Hi! Pokkiri asked if the Characters in Order of Appearance scroll box could be a different color for the live action series. So I obliged by creating a new template to be used for those articles. Hope that's OK! :)
Thanks for the help! :) I've been too busy lately to even check the wiki. I'll try to catch up the next following weeks but if my timetable becomes more hectic I think I might temporarily step down on handling this wiki for a while...
Any chance you could swing by the forum and help facilitate/arbitrate a discussion? There is a difference of opinion on how to handle the formatting for something that isn't specified in the content structure.
