The Miraculous Language of Angels - Part 2 is the 17th chapter of the Skip Beat! manga series.
Plot
Kyoko is challenged by the students in the LME's acting class! How will she able to act a Flora that hates her younger sister but still make her realize that their father loves her? That's quite complicated...
Chapter Summary
Kyoko has been dared to play out a version of the older sister, Flora, in a practice session after saying that the character was unbelievable as she was written. Kyoko is troubled by the request. But once Kanae offers her the advice to stick to the script, she follows it and begins going through the scipt to try and figure out what she should do.
Meanwhile, Maria is angry that Kyoko is being forced to attempt the dare, remembering when they first met and Kyoko told her that crying would not bring anyone to her rescue.
Maria appreciates that Kyoko did not sugarcoat or lie to her, and Lory asks if this has to do with Maria's mother's daeth. Reminding Maria that it wasn't her fault for asking her mother to return to Japan. The plane crash was an accident.
Meanwhile, Kyoko has a flash of inspiration and is prepared for the test before her. However as she is about to begin she hears the students saying that she must be there because her parents love her and give her lots of money to bribe people with.
This hits Kyoko very deeply. When they begin acting it seems as though Kyoko is following the script exactly as it was, using the lines of the older sister who loves the younger, but she puts a dark twist on them, making then ironic and cruel rather than kind.
Then she changes the last few lines of the first part, telling the younger sister that it is possible for parents to hate their children and that their father hates her.
